SIBERT DUBE- MANAGING DIRECTOR
Sibert brings to the NovaPay management experience gained working Bank Technology and Card Services Divisions (Standard Chartered Bank), Telecommunications Companies- Africom and CommIT, Fintechs (Payserv Zimbabwe, Payserv Zambia Limited PayservAfrica Limited). He served in positions that include Head-Marketing & Sales at Africom, Manager- Service line & Card Credit Services at Standard Chartered Bank, Chief Executive Officer Payserv Zimbabwe, Payserv Zambia and Payserv Africa, Director in the Payserv Group of companies, Director in Integrated Pay Services and Easyrecon Services. He is the current Managing Director in NovaPay Private Limited.
Sibert holds a BSc. Hons. Computer Science from National University of Science & Technology, a Master of Business Administration from University of Zimbabwe, A Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA. He is also a qualified Chartered Governance practitioner from the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) in Zimbabwe.
Ziwayi Kapfumvuti – Head information technology
Zi Kapfumvuti is an accomplished IT professional with over 10 years of technical and leadership experience across Africa, Europe and the Americas. At NovaPay, he oversees software development, technology infrastructure and project management. His expertise spans enterprise systems, cloud solutions, fintech operations and IT strategy. Zi previously co-founded the ZimWorX technology centre and has supported leading institutions across multiple sectors. He holds a BSc in Information Technology and is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner with proven project leadership experience.
GARY WELLS – OPERATIONS MANAGER
Gary has over 30 years of experience in operational, information services, and customer services management in the electronic financial services industry, primarily in Zimbabwe and the Southern African region. He was a founding member of Tradanet (E-business) and held various positions at Payserv, including Group Operations Manager. He has also held senior management positions at leading organizations like Payserv Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Shared Services. Currently, he is the Operations Manager for NovaPay Zimbabwe. Gary is a member of ISACA and continues to expand his knowledge in IT security, governance, and auditing.
Brighton Gavi – Finance
Brighton Gavi is an accounting and finance professional with over five years of experience in financial reporting, management accounting, taxation and auditing. He supports sound decision-making through strong financial controls, statutory compliance and analysis. His experience includes implementing accounting systems, training finance teams, strengthening internal controls, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and conducting operational audits. Brighton holds an ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, an ACCA Ethical and Professional Skills Certificate, and a Diploma in Data Analytics, supporting NovaPay’s growth
Alice Nyagweta – Customer Services
Alice Tatenda Nyagweta is NovaPay’s Customer Support Team Lead, bringing over six years of experience across customer service, operations, administration, insurance and underwriting. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Midlands State University. With strong analytical, leadership and team coordination skills, Alice focuses on improving customer experience, service delivery and operational efficiency. Her commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement and professional excellence supports NovaPay’s delivery of reliable payment solutions and strong, lasting customer relationships.
Steven James Danda – Business Development
Steven James Danda is a business development and financial services professional with experience in digital payments, customer acquisition, sales, marketing and payment operations. He joined NovaPay in April 2026 and became Business Development Officer in July 2026, focusing on client growth, strategic opportunities, customer relationships and digital payment adoption. Previously, Steven held several roles at Multipay Solutions. He holds a BSc Honours in Administration and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Zimbabwe, combining insight with payments expertise.
